The Platform
What we’re fighting for
A City Run Neighborhood by Neighborhood
Rebuild the neighborhood-based city government Tom Menino ran, so City Hall answers to the block it serves, in all twenty three neighborhoods.
Main Streets, Not Portfolios
Landlords and small business owners are both squeezed out unless they go corporate. Private equity should not decide who stays.
A City People Can Stay In
Open the center of the commonwealth to the residents of Metro and Greater Boston, so nobody moves outward by necessity instead of choice.
Hospitality, Not Platforms
Ban the mass delivery apps. Restaurants should run their own delivery, and hospitality should draw neighbors into the neighborhood.
Public Space, Cared For
Clean the parks and rec facilities in every neighborhood, hold the busiest commercial stretches to the same standard, and revitalize the places the city let go.
Finish the Streets
Settle the bike lanes: build them properly or take them back. Paint on a road is not a transportation plan.
